  Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for providing detailed technical design & architectures for HP Enterprise Servers & Storage Solutions
  • Very strong communications skills to conduct technical presentations to customers on proposed solutions and new technologies
  • Assume a role of a Principal Consultant, who analyzes and develops Enterprise Servers & Storage Solutions
  • Collects and determines data from appropriate sources to assist in determining customer needs and requirements
  • Regularly leads in the technical assessments and delivery of specific technical solutions to customers
  • Provides advanced technical consulting and advice to the sales team on proposal efforts, solution design, tuning and modification of solutions
  • Analyzes request for proposals (RFP) and prepare a technical response (Technical Solution Description, Compliance Matrix, Bill of Materials and Visio Diagrams)
  • Participates in knowledge sharing within the team
  • Creates competitive analysis against competitive solutions/products
  • Creates and supports sales activities
  • Produces complete proposals for engagements within area of expertise
  • Actively grows HP portfolio with existing customers through creating new opportunities
  

  Cerinte:
  Education Requirements:
  Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related area of study.
  Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of Enterprise Servers & Storage Presales experience (HP or IBM)
  • Should be a HP or IBM Certified Presales Engineer/Consultant
  • Must have work experience architecting large scale solutions covering High Availability, Replication, Backup, Disaster Recovery ... etc
  • Must have the ability to mentor other team members in the various technologies in scope
  • Must have work experience using HP/IBM's configuration tools such as the Price List and the Configuration Tools to create budgets and detailed BOMs for projects
  • Must be able to be the technical lead on a project from forecast budgeting through deal closure

  • Clustering Solutions
  • Disaster Recovery Solutions
  • Disk to Disk Backup Solution
